We expect brief updates in the morning and evening of each day’s deliberations. 

In the “Deliberation Room,” there will be fifty-one tables, one for each state and The District of Columbia, each with space for three delegates.  Each state legislature is being invited to have up to three legislators to observe the proceedings. There will be space for members of the public, media and other government.  

The delegates will alternate between the 320 seat Amphitheater (where they will receive formal presentations from credentialed Constitutional Scholars), and the Deliberation Room.  There will be breakout meetings as necessary.  

There will be a Congress chair, vice-chair, Parliamentarian and sergeant in arms.

Congress delegates will agree on a set of rules and policies guiding the sessions.

There will be a stenographer to prepare a written transcript of all proceedings. 

Time limits, daily agendas and schedules are to be determined.   The group will be kept on a schedule for deliberations, briefs and discussion, with ample time provided to consider recommendations and outcomes. 
 

THE BROAD AGENDA 

The upcoming Continental Congress is being called by The People, not to amend our Constitution, but to defend the one we now have.  This is not a Constitutional Convention. 

Specifically, the delegates will consider: 

The history, meaning, effect and significance of every provision of the Constitution (as originally intended); 

The historical context and purpose of the two accountability clauses of the Constitution;  

Violations of certain prohibitions, restrictions and mandates of the Constitution, and their devastating impacts on the People and the Treasury;  

The fourteen year record of Petitions for Redress of these violations and Governments refusal to listen and respond to the People;   

The Vision for America if we had followed the Constitution – i.e., what our Nation/life could have been had we relied upon the Constitution rather than the promises and assurances of elected officials; 

Peaceful and legal means through which a grassroots, mass movement could

peaceably bring the Government back under control of the Constitution and, therefore, the People.
